Phenolic resin crosslinking agents are water-soluble condensation polymers. The gels formed by crosslinking with polymer solutions are characterized by a long gelation time, relatively good gel stability, and temperature resistance. Therefore, gels formed by crosslinking phenolic resin crosslinking agents with polymer solutions are primarily used for profile adjustment and water plugging in remote well zones (areas 25–50 meters from the wellbore). Our company offers a version of this product suitable for high-temperature oil fields. It is a low-molecular-weight polyphenol crosslinking system that forms a gel through the crosslinking of anionically partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide with a phenolic resin system, featuring high-temperature and salt resistance.
The phenolic crosslinking agent produced by our company is a Stage A product of thermosetting phenolic resin. Its hydroxymethyl functional groups possess high reactivity and undergo a dehydration condensation crosslinking reaction with polyacrylamide, which can be completed under weakly alkaline or neutral conditions. making it suitable as a crosslinking agent for water-based polyacrylamide gels used in profile adjustment and water blocking operations in oil and water wells. It has been applied in the Shengli, Daqing, Jiangsu, Jilin, Liaohe, Xinjiang Karamay, North China, and Yuedong oilfields, among others, achieving excellent test results.
Product Features

2. Wide temperature range; it can gel with polymers at temperatures between 50 and 150°C.
3. The gelation time and strength of the cross-linked system formed with polymers are controllable.
4. The resulting gel exhibits good heat and salt resistance; it has low initial viscosity, making it suitable for deep profile control; and it remains stable for approximately 9 months.

Application
Suitable for reservoirs with temperatures ranging from 80°C to 120°C, this product requires a crosslinking agent dosage of 0.6% to 2%. It has a slightly slower gelation time but offers high strength and good stability. The gelation time and strength can be adjusted according to reservoir requirements, and it is widely used in water well profile control and oil well water-shut-in operations.

Directions for Use
Add directly to the polyacrylamide solution and stir until thoroughly mixed. Adjust the concentrations of the polymer and crosslinking agent according to application requirements. The typical concentration range for this product is 0.2–0.5%.
Packaging Specifications
