Pour point depressant for high wax crude oil

Crude oil pour point depressants for waxy crude are composed of high-carbon ester acrylic polymers, wax crystal modifiers, wax crystal dispersants, and surfactants. Its primary mechanisms of action include adhesion and penetration, crystal formation inhibition, growth suppression, and formation prevention. Specifically, its molecular segments adsorb onto the surfaces of wax crystals in crude oil, participate in the formation of crystal nuclei, distort the crystal nuclei, and inhibit the growth of wax crystals, thereby achieving the goal of lowering the crude oil’s pour point.

Directions for Use

1. To use, add the crude oil pour point depressant to the crude oil and mix thoroughly.
2. When the crude oil pour point is above 40°C, the recommended addition rate is 0.1%–2%; when the crude oil pour point is below 40°C, the recommended addition rate is 0.1% or less.
3. Alternatively, the crude oil pour point depressant can be diluted with other nonpolar solvents, injected into the pipeline, thoroughly mixed with the crude oil, and then heat-treated.

Packaging Specifications

Depending on customer requirements, the product will be packaged in ton containers or 200-kg drums and delivered by courier to the designated location by the date specified by the customer.
