Product Description


High temperature viscosity reducer is a water-soluble emulsifying viscosity reducer formulated primarily from anionic and nonionic surfactants, combined with emulsifiers and other surfactant additives. Its aqueous solution can emulsify heavy oil into a water-in-oil emulsion, gradually dispersing large clumps of heavy oil into smaller particles, thereby significantly reducing the viscosity of heavy oil and improving its rheological properties. The product is heat-resistant (≥300°C) and can be used for pre-steam injection viscosity reduction. 
The product can be used for pre-steam injection viscosity reduction, as well as for wellbore viscosity reduction, reservoir viscosity reduction, and gathering and transportation viscosity reduction.

Product Features

1. By forming a low-viscosity water-in-oil emulsion, it alters the viscosity of heavy crude oil and improves production and recovery rates. 
2. It reduces power consumption and system pressure while increasing crude oil production. 
3. It replaces petroleum sulfonates and improves salt resistance. 
4. The product is heat-resistant (≥300°C) and can be used for viscosity reduction prior to steam injection. 
5. It has good compatibility and can be used in combination with a variety of surfactants.

Application

The product can be used for viscosity reduction prior to steam injection, as well as for viscosity reduction in wellbores, oil reservoirs, and gathering and transportation systems.

Directions for Use

1. Conduct compatibility tests with the on-site water quality before use; the product can be customized according to the requirements of the customer’s target block.
2. Prepare a 1%–5% aqueous solution and inject it into the reservoir prior to steam injection, with an injection volume of 200–500 cubic meters of solution.
3. Prepare a 1% aqueous solution and inject it into the wellbore through the casing via drip injection.
4. The product has performed well in applications at Shengli Oilfield, Xinjiang Oilfield, Sinopec Northwest Bureau, and Dagang Oilfield.

Packaging Specifications

Depending on customer requirements, the product will be packaged in ton containers or 200-kg drums and delivered by courier to the designated location by the date specified by the customer.
